At ER Translations, all of the information we receive through our website, by e-mail, by phone or in person is kept strictly confidential and is never shared with third parties. Likewise, all of the documents we receive through our website, by e-mail or in person are kept strictly confidential and are never shared with third parties.
We do not, under any circumstance, sell or share any information obtained from visitors to our offices or our website, or potential, current or past clients, whether it be personal, professional or strictly informative in nature, with advertisers or other third parties. All documents received for the purpose of providing a project estimate, or documents received as part of a translation, revision or subtitling project, remain strictly confidential, are never sold or shared with third parties and are stored safely in our offices in a secure electronic format. Any paper versions of documents are destroyed and disposed in a safe and secure manner following project completion.
We respect the privacy of all those with whom we conduct business and believe that privacy is of the utmost importance. We would never, under any circumstance, release private information to advertisers or other third party individuals.
Email Privacy
All e-mail correspondence between ER Translations employees and potential, current or past clients are confidential and are intended only for those to whom they are addressed. If you are not the intended recipient, you are notified that disclosing, copying or distributing the contents of the email is strictly prohibited. ER Translations has taken the necessary precautions to ensure that no viruses are present in the company emails, however cannot be held responsible should a third party interfere in the transmission of company emails or attachments.
ER Translations adheres to the provincial and federal legislations regarding privacy of personal information and abides by the Code of Ethics of the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ) and the American Translators Association (ATA).
